THE PROCESS:

Paintings are hand painted, using your photos as reference. Clear face shots from multiple angles showing details such as eye color and markings are ideal to work from. Paintings take about 2-3 weeks to complete. You will receive an email with detailed photos of the final paintings.

PAYMENT:

When you agree to purchase your painting, a Paypal invoice will be sent via email. Paypal enables you to send payments quickly and securely online using a credit card or bank account. You may also mail a check or money order. When payment clears, shipping/tracking information is emailed.

SHIPPING:

A medium Priority Mail Flat Rate box is $10.35 to anywhere within the US, this charge will be added to the price of your painting. (For orders outside the USA add a $30.00 for international shipping.)

When payment clears tracking and insured mail numbers are emailed. Priority Mail takes 2-3 business days. If you do not agree to purchase the completed paintings, or no payment is received, paintings are sent for auction or sale to my co-op gallery in 30 days.

CANVAS:

Canvases are deep-edge, gallery wrapped with staple free sides. Edges are finished with metallic bronze and the finished painting is coated with clear varnish. No frame necessary, ready to hang.

DEMO:

I work from emailed photos, clear face shots are ideal, starting with a rough sketch for placement.

A more detailed drawing of the face.

Outlines are added with paint.

Base background color is applied roughly.

Shadows and midtone colors are added.

Details and highlights finish the painting.
